Custom software solutions

Practical software for home services companies.

Marstol is a small software company. We build the tools that help sales, scheduling and operations teams get through the day with less friction, and we build custom work when an off-the-shelf tool doesn't fit.

Pocket Showroom

Close the job at the kitchen table.

Your rep's iPad holds the catalog, the price book and the paperwork. The homeowner sees good, better and best options with payment plans, picks one, and signs before the rep leaves the house.

  • Your products and prices, set up by region
  • Branded proposals with the homeowner's own photos
  • E-signature and deposit on the spot
  • Works with i360 on Salesforce

Self-estimate builder

Let homeowners price the job themselves.

A homeowner picks a project, snaps a photo of their patio or pool deck, and sees the new surface on their own space. A few taps later they have a ballpark price and a design consult booked. Your rep gets the lead with the photo, the measurements and the options they chose.

  • Works on any phone, right from your website
  • Your products, colors and pricing
  • Leads arrive with photos and project details

Best on a phone. It opens as a sample contractor website.

Jotter

A fast, organized notebook for developers.

Notes, markdown, code snippets and checklists, all in one place. Sign in with Google, or try it without an account and your notes stay in your browser.

It isn't built for remodelers, but it's a good example of how we like to build: one clear job, done quickly and without clutter.

Custom work

When nothing off the shelf fits

Zion Outdoors: payments that file themselves.

Someone at Zion used to copy every customer payment into i360 by hand. Now each payment that comes through PaySimple is matched to the right job and recorded automatically. If a match isn't certain, the office gets an email instead of a guess.

It works the other way too: reps can charge a card on file with one button inside i360. Every payment, in both directions, shows up in a simple log the office can check anytime.

No flashy screen to show off. Just a chore nobody has to do anymore.

  1. Customer pays through PaySimple
  2. We find the job and check the match
  3. It's recorded on the sale in i360

Sound familiar?

The problems we like to fix

  • The same customer info gets typed into three different systems.
  • Quotes take days because the pricing lives in one person's spreadsheet.
  • Leads come in and nobody's sure who followed up.
  • The office spends Monday morning cleaning up after the weekend.

Sometimes the fix is connecting the tools you already pay for. Sometimes it's building something new. And if off-the-shelf software will do the job, we'll tell you.

How we work

No sales pitch. No jargon. Just a lot of questions.

  1. We listen first

Before we write any code, we learn how your business really runs: who does what, where the paperwork goes, and what eats up your week.

  2. We build the smallest thing that helps

You get something useful quickly and try it on real work before we build the next piece. No big-bang launch, no surprises.

  3. We stick around

When something changes or breaks, you talk to the same people who built it. No call center, no ticket queue.
